Marina Cavalieri is Associate Professor of Public Finance. She holds a Laurea (BA) cum laude in Economics from the University of Florence (Italy), a PhD in Public Economics from the University of Catania (Italy) and a Master of Science Degree in Health Economics from the University of York (UK). She was Assistant Professor of Public Finance at the University of Catania for several years. Currently, she teaches Public Finance (Bachelor Degree in Business Administration) and Evaluation of Public Policies (Master Degree in Economics and Public Policies). She is a member of the Commettee of the Doctorate (PhD) in "Economics, Management and Decision Making" of the University of Catania. She has obtained the Italian National Scientific Qualification (ASN) for the role of Full Professor in Public Finance. Her research interests include health economics, cultural economics, public procurement, measurement of efficiency of public and private firms and public finance.
