There are lower and higher levels for you to choose from, and the courses will not only give you an idea of what it is like to be a student on a summer course at the University of York, but also help improve your knowledge of the English language and skills of communication.

Reading/Speaking homework for 28th November:
1) Please complete pp. 106-113 of IELTS TRAINER (Reading Passages 2 + 3 questions 14-40) in NO MORE THAN 40 MINUTES. Within this timeframe, transfer your answers to a separate sheet to hand in at 8.15 on 28th November. A blank answer sheet is attached at the end of this notice.

IELTS APPOINTMENTS: FEEDBACK/CORRECTIONS FINAL TEST 13/12
All students present on 13/12/18 have selected an appointment slot (see attached timetable). Students who were absent on 13/12/18 must attend an appointment in order to receive feedback about the coursework, attendance and credits. If you are one of the absent students, please choose an empty appointment slot on Wednesday 16/01 and tell us which slot you would prefer by sending us an email to cooper@unict.it and vickery@unict.it before 13/01/18. The appointments will be held in the English Institute (room 6, first floor).
